What are the differences between 100% hand wash vs. machine wash facilities?
It doesn’t matter how machine wash facilities advertise how soft their washcloths are, they will still scratch and leave swirl marks or damage your vehicle paint finish, especially dark colored vehicles.(Not to mention machine malfunctions, breaking antennas, mirrors or moldings) At Miami’s Auto Spa, we offer 100% and wash with microfiber mitts and finish with microfiber towels to assure your vehicle is washed without scratches and damage.
How does your 48 HOUR RAIN CHECK policy work?
If it rains within 48 hours of washing your vehicle, just bring in your receipt and we will wash it for free (exterior only). Must redeem next day car wash is open.
How does your FREE BIRTHDAY WASH policy work?
Free birthday is available to anyone with valid ID. (one vehicle, one person, one wash per year) You have a three day window to come in (one day before, the day of, and one day after your birthday)
Why do I have water spots on my vehicle?
The same water you use to bathe your vehicle could also damage your vehicle’s paint. The water spots and damage are caused by the minerals in the water. When water evaporates off your vehicle’s paint, the excess traces are calcium and metal deposits that can be damaging acids from air pollution. The most common water spots are from water sprinkles. If the sprinkler water is allowed to dry and bake in the sun, they will etch the clear coat. To prevent water spots on your vehicle paint finish, you must not allow any kind of water to bake onto your vehicle more than two days. Maintain your vehicle regularly to prevent water spots in the first place.
Why do I need to wax my vehicle and what are the benefits of waxing it?
Waxing protects the paint finish from the elements by coating it with polymers, reins and silicons. In addition to protection, waxing can also “lock in” the gloss to create brilliance deepen/enrich dark colors and offer other benefits such as water beading and light swirl removal depending on formulation.
How do I know when I need to wax my vehicle?
That will depend on personal taste and preference. One way you can test is by running your finger on a fresh wash surfaced – if it “squeaks”, that is when you need a coat of wax
How long does the wax last?
There is no standard answer, as there are many variables that affect wax durability, type and condition of paint, local environment, exposure duration to the sun, quality and type of wax, quality of car wash, your personal preference and expectations. Generally speaking, however, Miami’s Auto Spa recommends waxing your vehicle every ⅔ months, more frequent is better.
